Anyone can learn the shape of goodness. The words, the gestures, the timing.

That isn’t the same as having it.

A person can follow the line and still miss the point. The act can be right while the motive stays untouched. History is full of that, people who performed what looked like goodness but never carried it within them.

Goodness is not the act. It is what the act comes from.
