Reviewing an entity you use and being careful not to include favorable opinions or subjective valuations is very difficult.
But the CNMV requires it that way, if you receive income from that entity...
And I wasn't going to break it (even if half the industry does)
Nor did I include links to open an account or referral codes.
So, what did I do?
Answer all the necessary questions to understand Trade Republic.
What is its history? Who are the owners?
Where is it regulated? Who supervises it?
Which guarantee fund protects me depending on the product I use?
What products do they offer and the peculiarities of each one?
What are the explicit or implicit costs of using them? Are they more expensive than the rest?
Who custodies my assets?
What tax aspects should I consider if I operate with them?
How do they make money?
Do they have good customer service?
Where do they execute orders and what are the implications? For which profile do they fit and for whom is their platform not suitable?
Among others...
I don't know if it's the most complete review, but at least I think it's a good guide for anyone who wants to open an account or is already using it.
And the best part is that it's an interactive guide because I'll be updating it with all your questions about it.
