Make money doing the work you believe in

Tjoritja has always been a mirror for me.

This time, it reflected back something different.

As a Her Trails team, we were testing a new evolution of our adventure offerings:

a moveable base camp.

A more rugged immersion.

The “volume” raised or lowered

in rhythm with what our community needs.

I moved slower.

I stayed closer to base camp.

I pressed my face and body against the wall of Standley Chasm

its shape & spirit unmistakably feminine,

and felt both held and confronted.

I arrived not long after another IVF transfer.

And the land, once again, became a teacher.

I’ve written more about this in my latest piece on The Crossover.
