Make money doing the work you believe in

One of the biggest headaches with mini whiteboards isn't using them, but instead the management of them.

The boards wander. The markers disappear. An eraser vanished somewhere in a desk.

When materials aren't ready and easy to access, the routine breaks.

Here is what I do to address this common challenge in my classroom.

Each of my 3rd graders keeps a mesh zipper bag in their desk — one whiteboard, one marker, one eraser. When I say "whiteboards out," there's no scavenger hunt. Just a quick pull from the desk.

The bag externalizes organization for kids who struggle with it. Less cognitive load. More access to instruction.

Small shift. Big difference.
