My focus here on Substack is building community. I don't worry too much about subscriber count. I try to post at least one encouraging note every day (sometimes several!) I engage with other writers and readers by responding to their notes. When I read a newsletter post I enjoy, I do the Substack hat trick: I like the post, repost, and leave a friendly comment.

As I am praying about displaying The Project. A parish out in Grand Blanc, MI, keeps coming up in my prayer time. It is a place I would love to visit. However, the odds are not in my favor. Praying for wisdom that something develops or that I can finally let this go.-
