Wondering about adding “a shilling life will give you all the facts” to the banned-quotes-in-book-reviews list, if only because the last lines of that poem - “answered some/ of his long marvellous letters but kept none” - are so much better than the endlessly quoted first one. Actually the whole sestet is wonderful, and almost never quoted.
