I work at a computer repair shop. One day a customer brought their computer in because it wouldn’t boot up. I quickly got it working, but I noticed something. This computer was being used to generate fake feel-good AI stories. They were supposed to be heartwarming. So I took a hammer to the hard drive. I dripped hot solder onto the motherboard. I squirted lighter fluid into the case and my supervisor flicked his cigarette ash in to make a fire. We then closed it back up and gave it back to the customer. No charge, because we didn’t fix the issue. They left in tears, probably due to our generosity. Because if you want a made-up BS heartwarming story about something which never really happened like this one, your best bet is still a human.
