Tim Ferriss said a variation on his podcast — that we overestimate what we can do in three months and underestimate what we can do in three years.
I love that idea. It’s so true, especially when applied to self-education and lifelong learning.
In 3 years, you can really go deep into 1-3 subjects if you study them each day. You can become a self-taught expert who knows more about the fields than 99.99% of people.
