My favorite way to manage multiple interests is to do a project that falls at the intersection of several of them.

For example, my Thinkers newsletter series, where I write about the intellectual lives of history’s greatest thinkers, is partly an excuse to nerd out on three of my biggest interests: history, autodidactism, and essay writing.

Plus, the flow state I enter from immersing myself in all three at once is as satisfying as eating a tortilla chip slathered in both queso and salsa.
