I don’t know what this is called but there’s something interesting about experiencing something while accompanied by an expert of that field.

For instance, last week I went to watch a live cellist concerto with my cello teacher. In between movements, she’d make small observations. It gave me access to a level of perception I’m not even close to yet, and I started noticing things I never would have on my own.
