The conventional wisdom about Trump is that he obviously is lazy and does not work as president so much as engage in the trappings and it is the shadow cabinet that did (and plans to do) the real work. Why can't that be acceptable for Biden? I think he is probably still MOSTLY capable, and I know that is a horrible thing to say when electing a president, but Trump and his Project 2025 staff would be infinitely worse. And I think changing horses now is impossible without imploding the Democratic party.
