On a road trip from St Louis to Dallas, I stopped in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma and saw the Choctaw Nation Capitol. I recommend a visit. Great exhibits and artifacts, especially baskets. The last photo is of a sculpture commemorating the bond between the Choctaw Nation and Ireland. In 1847, the Choctaw sent the Irish aid during the Great Famine, even though they were suffering themselves under internal exile from their native land in the US.
