I just spent the whole morning in the backyard reading a book. My kid romped through the yard and we’re noticing all of the life in this small patch of nature. Over the last 3 days we’ve seen a goldfinch, bumble bees, wasp nest (boo hiss!), black swallowtail butterfly, brown rabbit (taken up residence under my studio), grasshopper, preying mantis, dragonfly, cabbage white butterflies, and a hummingbird!

This IS the life. 🐝
