Make money doing the work you believe in

Wellness trends that have not worked for me, and that can be counterproductive for a dysregulated nervous system

Cold plunges (though I do like putting my face only in a bowl of ice water for a few seconds).

No rest days from intense exercise.

Too much high intensity cardio.

Sacrificing sleep to exercise.

Intermittent fasting and exercising on an empty stomach. I know this works for many people, but not for me after years of chronic stress and as a highly sensitive person. (A small snack before bed helps me to stay asleep.)

When your brain doesn’t feel safe, pushing your body too hard is counterproductive.
