Bis Sis Suggestions Part 1
For any young woman looking a few years ahead…
Learn how to cook.
Whether you become a missionary, a teacher, a wife, a mama, a full-time writer…
You need to eat. Men need to eat. Children need to eat.
Ministry is often performed over or after a meal (preferably delicious, always).
Start small. Fried eggs. Rice. Perfectly brewed coffee. A good breakfast. Chicken salad in store bought croissants. Pasta with a decadent sauce.
Then build from there. Bread. Meat. Dessert.
I had no idea how much of marriage was JUST cooking! It is what unites all of my days!
Furthermore, the HEALTH of my family is in my hands as I make most of the meals.
Meals should not be taken lightly. 3 meals a day, for decades upon decades is a large portion of our lives, community, family culture, health, and ministry.
Young women (and men if you read my substack and want advice haha)…
