Thanks for all the good wishes, everyone. Got mom sprung from the hospital. She’s got a bit of a road ahead of her toward full healing. And caretaking is a physically and emotionally exhausting endeavor—gives me such respect for those who do it on a regular basis. Right now I feel lucky she’s alive, and home in time for Mother’s Day.
