I responded to some of the comments/questions on last week's post about the fundamental genetic differences between IQ and height. Including:

Some more formal definitions and examples of direct/indirect effects (and even a schematic).
Some more on the missing heritability problem between twin/molecular data, which was largely resolved by Young et al. 2018 but no one really noticed.
Why "smart parents have smart kids" is not evidence of heritability alone, and why kinship studies are often massively inflated (something we've known for decades but keep forgetting).
