RFK Jr and HHS are lying to the public, claiming ticks cause alpha-gal, and hard-coding this lie into money making CPT code for doctors to repeat it over and over and over to the patients: “tick borne alpha-gal”. Instead of the truth - vaccines cause alpha-gal, and ticks have nothing to do with it, watch the Amish not having alpha-gal at all.

If the doctors don’t affirm this lie, they lose a money-making opportunity. This is how it always works - lies are rewarded by the prison owners, truth is hard and unprofitable. If you think that “alternative” and “health freedom” accounts are the truth tellers - watch them write zillion pieces of the same propaganda under “weaponized ticks” headlines. Again, lies are lucrative and truth is not. It’s more comfortable to stay in the cage for most people.

In my years of practice, across a large Amish patient population that is maximally exposed to ticks and entirely unvaccinated, I am not aware of any cases of alpha-gal. Not one. I’m not saying there might not be a couple, but if there are, they are not making it public. And before someone reaches for the easy dodge — well, maybe they’re just less exposed somehow — let me close that door. They are not less exposed. They are more exposed than the repellent-using, mostly indoors, general population that is developing alpha-gal in droves. Maximum tick exposure, zero vaccination, little to no alpha-gal.
