yes, it’s important to edit your work, AND sometimes just go for it and post that essay you wrote in 20 minutes.

I had so many drafts of half-done essays floating around, but none of them were “good enough” and I was stuck in the “I want to post on substack but I can’t post because it has to be perfect, shucks it’s not perfect so I guess I won’t post” hamster wheel for the past 3 weeks (or maybe months??)

so I just made myself post something and tbh I feel so much better now (and no one called me out for the essay not being good enough).

if you’re on the hamster wheel like I was, please post. I prefer your imperfect words over your perfect silence every time. 🩵
