Dear Mothers Everywhere — I See You
When you are weary and bone-tired,
and asked to deliver more—
I see you.
When you sit bedside with a sick child,
and worry clings like an ominous cloud—
I see you.
When you say the words that land like thunder,
but were meant to heal—
I see you.
When your heart soars and dances,
for no reason at all—
I see you.
When you understand
without saying a word—
I see you.
When your child's pain
becomes your own—
I see you.
When tears stain your pillow
and grief consumes—
I see you.
When pain and exhaustion arrive,
and still, you remain—
I see you.
When peace and harmony roll in,
like a thunderstorm of joy—
I see you.
To all mothers everywhere:
May light, love, and peace
course through your veins
today and every day.
You are the enduring lifeblood
of the children of this world.
And you are seen.
— With love and gratitude, Lis
