I don't really understand why a millionaire making false claims about how dangerous London is made it on to the BBC Sport home page. The article then goes on to Jenson Button losing "valuables" and "socialite" Shafira Huang being robbed. What is this?!

Shelvey saying he doesn't want to move back to London may just be his honest opinion. But plastering his misguided views across the BBC is just perpetuating a right-wing narrative that cities are dangerous. Because they're full of people from different races and backgrounds.
