Mixed feelings about the Star Fox announcement; I have never played one of these games from start to finish so my opinion is something of a blank slate.

I like that Nintendo has shifted pricing so that games with lower mass appeal like Star Fox and the upcoming Splatoon Raiders are a bit cheaper.

This news likely means the Ocarina Of Time remake is real, I’m not particularly interested in seeing that happen a second time.

The Nintendo 64 original, like all N64 games, has a dreadful framerate I’m led to believe so I’m hoping this title will be a better entry point.

Apart from remakes and third party games it feels like there’s nothing on the horizon for me to really look forward to from Nintendo; I’m not quite willing to buy Legends Z-A at full price, Pokopia and Tomodachi Life don’t appeal to me and while I’ll be grabbing Star Fox and Splatoon Raiders, it’s fair to say these aren’t landmark titles.

I enjoyed DK Bananza but I wasn’t enamoured by it, I'd love a new 2D DK or a 3D Mario soon.
