I agree with Tom Nichols that LA was a canny choice for Trump to create his riot. I fear that his birthday parade might be a continue of this strategy. He wanted to create a crisis in LA a week before his military parade, amp up the fear and anger. He is counting on protestors during his parade; it is such a tempting target made more so by his pledge to meet protestors with extreme force. He will view it as an attack on not just him, but the military and all of America. All protestors will be declared enemies of the state, arrested and sent to his shiny new prisons or overseas. Who knows? It could be his Reichstag.

I know, a bit overheated. Probably won't happen. But these days nothing seems to crazy to be true.
