The way Conscious talent has unfolded is opposite of how I thought it would.

I thought our biggest challenge would be finding candidates who were both excellent at their craft and deeply committed to their inner journey.

I assumed that we would be flooded with companies who wanted to work with us.

If you're already open to working with a recruiting firm, why wouldn’t you want to see candidates who offered the best of both worlds? Especially when we offer a no upfront fee, contingency option?

The opposite has turned out to be true.

There are SO MANY talented people who want more out of their career than a good paycheck with potential upside.

To put it in context, we had over 1,000 candidates apply for one of our roles in a single day.

That’s insane.

There’s so much hunger in the market to find companies and leaders that offer something more and truly value the whole person - especially amongst top performers.

On the new business side, things have really picked up in the past few weeks.

But it wasn’t the avalanche of companies coming in that I expected in the beginning.

I think our value prop is still something people are getting comfortable with.

Does inner work really translate to building a performant team and company? I think so.

Are there really people out there who can hold both worlds effectively?

Yes, there are. I’m talking to them everyday and they desperately want to find leaders and companies that see the world the same way.

For all the leaders out there that personally care about this stuff, I think you need to start thinking about sharing this part of our life as an attractor instead of something to hide.

Like-minded people want to come work alongside you.

But if all indicators that you share the same values and way of seeing the world are behind closed doors, you’re raising your hand in the dark.
