Everyone keeps saying AI will bring the "personalization era" of software, but handwaving whenever it comes to "how". If MCP is a USB-C port like they say, you don’t need AI in the loop. And if you take AI out, what you have left is a universal plugin system for all software in small enough chunks that AI can generate customizations for you on the fly. (or you can use ones that others have built)
