It's something rather surreal to see recipes you wrote for a cookbook featured on the menu of a place that means a lot to you. I had the great pleasure of helping Alderbrook Resort kick off their annual Oyster Month festivities. Signed books and had lots of great seafood conversations Friday evening, followed by dinner where there were 3 specials from Shellfish offered (available weekends through April). What an honor. I've been coming to this nook of Hood Canal since I was a kid. Tons of memories wrapped in this area. Always a treat to return.
