I realize that I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I read JVL’s comment’s about the Gerrymandering changes in Illinois, and I just have a question: Given that Kinzinger voted with Trump/GOP the vast majority of his time in the House, and would continue to if the Democrats carved a district for him, really not seeing the loss to our country. Yes, he made the right decision to impeach TFG. But, how many times did he vote for him? How many policies that weaken America did he agree to? How many of Biden’s plans has he voted No on?
But, let’s carve him a safe district where, hopefully, he can beat the MAGA candidate that will keep coming at him for the next decade while voting against the interests of the voters of Illinois. (Yes, he might be voting for the people in his district, but look at West Virginia and Manchin).
