By now most of you have heard about Browsergate, where LinkedIn got caught snooping on user’s browser data.

All of the focus was on LinkedIn behaving badly (and they were).

The real story though is about Google Chrome. If you used Brave or even Firefox or Safari, this was a non event. LinkedIn couldn’t activate their spying.

The takeaway is clear -

ditch Google chrome if you haven’t already.

There’s no persuasive reason to use it in your personal life (work is a different story if it’s required). More on this in our latest post.
