NVIDIA’s next-generation Rubin chips were originally planned to adopt top-tier M9 CCL materials. Market sources now indicate a potential downgrade back to more mainstream M8 / M7 specifications.

What’s changed?

• CPX (Compute board): M9 ➝ M8

• CX9 (Interconnect): M9 ➝ M7
