Snowflake is pushing enterprise AI from insight to execution

$SNOW just introduced Project SnowWork, a research-preview platform for autonomous enterprise AI. Big idea: move from dashboards and copilots to AI that can actually complete multi-step business workflows from prompt to finished output.

SnowWork brings agentic AI directly to business users’ desktops. It is built for real operating work across finance, sales, marketing, and operations, with persona-specific skills tied to workflows, KPIs, and business language.

Snowflake says organizations are earning about $1.49 for every $1 invested in AI, and 92% of early adopters report positive ROI.

77% of organizations reported AI-driven job creation versus 46% reporting job loss.

Management highlighted data quality, silos, and governance as the main blockers to scaling AI.

Snowflake says nearly 48% of code is now AI-generated, while continuing to build enterprise coding capabilities through Cortex Code.

Takeaway: Snowflake is trying to become more than a data platform. It wants to be the governed execution layer for the agentic enterprise.
