I’m always happy to see people discovering operant conditioning, and how behaviorists are still right. Teachers (and school administrators) are in desperate need of understanding behavior / learning principles. At this point, my experience has been depressing.
For years at my school, our instructional coach sent out a weekly e-mail with everyone’s cumulative grade-book GPA. Teachers closest to a “4.0” were highlighted in green; those drifting below the “goal GPA” were yellow, and the rest of us were red.
