The Verge reports Elon Musk's SpaceX and his xAI may merge.

So… one company that the federal government (stupidly) now relies desperately upon, and a second no one gives a fig about and is a failure, are going to merge so that taxpayers have to fund both?

Is this not the most obvious grift and way of stealing public funds imaginable?
