My mom passed away in 2017.

Bonnie was a bass player. Loved to dance to records with her headphones on. Loved raking leaves in the fall, playing Klax on my old Sega Genesis, and she’d regularly have The Shining playing while doing her counted cross stitch most nights.

She had a very carefree attitude, hardly let anything bother her. We had so many good talks during the last years of her life, when her health was deteriorating.

She never got to me start to make a real freelance living, and finance a car on my own. I miss sending her photos of my adventures when I’m out and about.

For all those out there that miss their mom’s today, I hear you.
