Stalin & the USSR survived because Hitler over-reached and the industrial might of the U.S. provided the materials that the Soviets needed to counter-attack. Who will rescue of the U.S. if we mess-up our government so badly that we suffer grave set-backs? Reform, change, necessary maintenance, cleaning, tune-ups—call it what you may—there’s always entropy. But one shouldn’t tear down a house to remodel it unless the house is unsafe, beyond repair. The USG isn’t there yet, and we shouldn’t let the Yahoos and the true believers speed its demise.
