Schmidt, I discuss some of the intriguing parallels between the parable of Lazarus recorded in Luke 16 and the raising of Lazarus in John 11. Since both texts involve a man named “Lazarus” and deal with the subject of “resurrection,” this program explores the possibility that the two stories are somehow connected.
