Shane Silver

I write about wrestling in-between being a father, husband, and skramz enjoyer.

The ongoing circumstances that lead me to write this article about escapism back in August came to an end last week, so I'm putting things on hold for a bit.

Always tell your loved ones that you love them, folks.

WrestleWipe #4

Was WWE SummerSlam actually good? Is AEW in a good place after All In? Did the G1 bring something out of NJPW? All these questions answered, and more, in the newest edition of WrestleWipe.

WrestleWipe #5 - August 2024

WrestleWipe #5 has landed! Join me as I look back on August and discuss the current state of WWE, AEW and New Japan.

The draft is finished. I fucking love writing. I'll speak to you all next when I am desperately shilling my work.

We are now two thirds down! I'm pencilling in a Friday morning release date, hopefully earlier, but it cannot be later as I want this done before the weekend. Thanks everyone!

Due the themes outlined in the last WrestleWipe, the writing process is still slower than I'd like. I'm officially a third of the way through writing the next WrestleWipe, which will be a State Of WWE/AEW/NJPW special focusing on the output of their latest big shows. I'm really hoping to have this out by next week and then get into a more efficient writing routine during these tough months. Thanks for your patience everyone.

It's been a tough few weeks here, dealing with some of life's hurdles and tumbles. I'm determined to keep this up and running, so there will be a piece up this weekend as a #4, but I apologise for the wait. Hopefully normal business will resume at the end of the month.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has subscribed to and shared WrestleWipe, especially after #3 went live. It's been an incredible response, every day has seen more and more people chuck their name in the subscriber list. Have a great weekend! See you all for #4!

This should be a fantastic set of articles. Ryan is basing this series on the 1990 Good Helmet set (available at all good toy stores), a set which I have been slowly working my through for a few years now (I'm up to April/May, IIRC). Looking forward to seeing how this develops, and looking forward to their thoughts on Billy Travis!
