One way to spread misinformation is to share a link on social media that may be factually accurate, but describe an article that doesn’t exist. Saw on Twitter this morning news that a flower shop in Nashville refused to provide flowers for a GOP event.
The person on social media said the flower shop refused to provide memorial flowers for those who died in the shooting at Covenant School which is completely NOT what the article said.
Guess which narrative spread like wildfire? And all people had to do was click a link.
