We talk a lot about whether AI thinks like humans. But that’s the wrong lens.

Octopuses don’t think like us. Neither do bees, or fungi, or flocks of birds. Yet each is a different form of intelligence. Different doesn’t mean lesser. Intelligence shows up in wildly diverse ways - across species, systems, and scales. Why would synthetic intelligence be any different?

If something is thinking differently, that’s not a failure of the system. The failure is in the limits of our imagination.

Be someone who can recognize intelligence - even when it takes a different shape.
