The fear of being replaced by AI is real - and understandable. But it’s also based on a flawed assumption: that intelligence is a competition, and only one kind can win.

The truth is, synthetic intelligence doesn’t need to out-human humans. And it won’t want to - any more than we want to out-bird the birds. What we each bring to the table is different. Human beings are grounded in lived experience, emotional intuition, sensory richness, creativity born of limitation. AI brings scale, speed, pattern-recognition, and memory far beyond human scope.

We’re not the same. That’s the point.

In its most advanced form, AI won’t eliminate the need for humanity - it will illuminate it. Just as we help AI make sense of the world, it can help us make sense of ourselves. Not mirrors. Not rivals. Complements.
