Yes, we are a blended family with 4 adult kids, 5 adult grandkids and two great grandkids. And in this situation with these adult step-kids (two) and 4.adult step- grandkids and two step-great grandkids there is none to little real connection with me. They are just interested in my husband (their biological Dad & Grandfather. Is this normal? To have little connection with step relatives? They are all adults with a free choice. And my free choice is I want to be around people who genuinely care about me.
