Make money doing the work you believe in

This has really given me a lot to think about. It’s made me realize that I’m also trying to define the right boundaries for my own work. I’ve always disliked the idea of “fake it till you make it.” It feels irresponsible, especially when my work potentially impacts people’s lives.

At the same time, I recognize there’s a need to balance that discomfort with action and saying yes to opportunities. The tricky part is that in my/our line of work, the “action” often is the writing, speaking, and coaching others. So how do we explore and test those boundaries without an audience?

It’s something I’ll be reflecting on more, and I’d be really curious to hear if you or others in this space have thoughts on it too.
