2023 Denver Broncos Outlook (6/2)
Despite a disappointing season from Russell Wilson in 2022, I expect Sean Payton to give him his best opportunity to pass the ball in his career. Unfortunately, Denver had one of the worst pass-blocking offensive lines (63 sacks) last year, something that has to be corrected in 2023 for Denver to be competitive in the AFC West.
Payton has a history of rotating two backs, giving Samaje Perine a better-than-expected opportunity, especially if Javonte Williams is limited early in the year.
Jerry Jeudy looks poised to build on last year, while Courtland Sutton must do a better job finding paydirt. I have incoming rookie Marvin Mims winning their WR3 opportunity due to his game-breaking ability. He should be a fun follow this season.
The lead tight end role is in the hands of Greg Dulcich, who must get past his battles with hamstring issues in 2022.
