Best mental reset I’ve learned:

If your mind is loud — Write.

If your mind is empty — Read.

If your mind is racing — Walk.

If your mind is tired — Sleep.

If your mind is sharp — Build.

Most problems are just mismatched energy. Get the inputs right, the rest follows.

I almost quit Substack. Not because I didn’t enjoy writing.

Because I felt like nobody was reading.

Then, I got a DM that said, “Your advice helped me get started. I read everything you write. Thank you.”

That message meant everything to me. Now, when I write I think about that one person.

I decided I’m not writing to go viral. I’m writing for impact.

In a good way, I believe many of us are finally becoming disenchanted enough with social media, dating apps, and other forms of (dis)connected tech that we’re actively seeking the novelty, warmth, and value of the real world.

Hey everyone 👋 I joined Substack yesterday and I’m stoked to be here.

I think this platform is the future of smart writing and interesting thoughts.

I’m looking forward to writing about the intersection of life and business for people who are stepping off of the default path to build lives they love supported by work they enjoy.

Thank you for the warm reception so far.

‘The Efforts Are Not Enough’: Rep. Ilhan Omar on Kamala Harris’s Failing Outreach to Muslim Voters

The U.S. will always remain a two-party system because of being told constantly to not vote for one party because another will be sure to win. That guarantees no third party will ever get into power. You cannot chastise people if they want to vote for a smaller party, in a democracy one should be allowed to vote for whomever they want without fear of being criticized. Personally I think that this time around is not much different to previous elections in the States, piss-poor choice!
