I met my first Substacker in person! Terra Ishee was in Victoria visiting, and asked me about secondhand stores. Well, of course I had to show her around, and take her to dinner at my favourite Zambri’s!

We explored the lower Johnson Street shopping district (I refuse to call it LoJo 🙄). We checked out the Fluevog store (I really do know all the staff by name!), plus Flavour Upstairs, Cherry Pick Vintage (hi, Annabelle!), and Vintage After Death, where I found this va-va-boom suede mermaid dress (with POCKETS).

We walked through Market Square and old town, then through Fan Tan Alley in Chinatown, cut through Centennial Square to see my beloved fountain, and walked past the closed John’s Place and WIN thrift store, before enjoying mocktails, crispy broccoli and a pizza each. The hours flew by!
