A pastor once told my family that for prayer, we needed to sacrifice cows because our situation was serious. I said, “But we have the blood of Jesus.” He tried to justify his position by telling me about the “scary” things others sacrifice. So I asked him directly: “Are you saying the blood of Jesus isn’t enough? That we need another sacrifice beyond what happened on the cross?”

Many pastors and prophets operate with this mindset. For some, it’s a money-making scheme. For others, it’s genuine ignorance; they’re simply repeating what they were taught.

I don’t care how serious the situation is. The blood of Jesus is enough. Let it be enough.
