I’m so devastated that the really ill squirrel that I wrote about earlier today has passed away. I’ve just found him/her in the grass. I’d been so worried overnight during the awful windstorm we had. And I was looking so forward to administering the meds that had just arrived this morning. I’m just so sad I wasn’t able to help in time. Poor little thing. 💔💔💔

Here’s an update: I wasn’t easily able to determine the gender when this sweet squirrel had passed. But when I looked it up afterward, I found that this was a male. So at least I didn’t have to worry about babies left behind in the nest. I’m still just so saddened that he’s passed.
