I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period
The proximate cause of this war is the coup in Ukraine in 2014 engineered by the U.S. Yes, ordinary Ukrainian soldiers should be given the opportunity to surrender and their lives spared. All foreign mercenaries should be summarily shot.
They were going to cut off Russia’s naval base in Sevastopol Crimea in 2014 and it is their only access to the Black Sea. Also, NATO was making moves to admit Ukraine plus Ukraine had troops in the Donbas creating hell for the Russian speaking people who live there and that combined with NATO’s push was Russia’s ‘red line’.
