Former First Lady Michelle Obama delivered a PHENOMENAL speech at the opening of the Obama Presidential Library in Chicago today, and she took several minutes to remind us all about who her husband was and still is today. 

“Eight years in the crucible and not once did you melt from the heat. Not once did you let it harden you. Instead, you used it to reveal your truest essence: your stubborn optimism and unflinching courage, your daring brilliance, and unpretentious decency, your ferocious work ethic and absolutely unshakable moral fiber.”

Obama looks down bashfully, Hillary makes a joke and chuckles loudly, and Malia and Sasha shed tears. Her delivery is perfect as always, but the writing in this speech is SUBLIME.
