So I hastily submitted a few poems to a local journal, my first submission, and just received my first rejection 🤦‍♀️ it was actually quite lovely, really kind and encouraging in spite of the rejection. I suppose it's good for my ego as well as my soul 😊 carrying on… ##moregoodshit
