Jesus was misinterpreted.

Instead of “Thy will be done” implying some future moment - what he really meant was “thy will is being done.”

In each moment. Unconditionally.

Yet, it was that seemingly innocent projection into a future that created room for the church to sneak in a whole sin and redemption arc.

For if thy will be done - there is still time for the sinner to surrender to God’s will.

But if thy will is being done - then the sinner is a redundancy within an equation that is wholly comprised of god.

What we call sin is but a sample of divine will.

Collapsing the “devil’s work” into God’s will isn’t blasphemy. It is salvation.
